Me, My Thoughts, and My Words

It is not easy to fully express ourselves unless we write and share our thoughts. I never planned to write an article. I am a people person, and I always felt more comfortable talking. I talk a lot, but many times I felt that I could not say everything I wanted to. Because of this, I was sometimes misunderstood. I used to think about this often and wonder why it happened. It was not anyone else’s mistake—it was simply that I did not know how to express myself clearly.

With time, experience, and self‑reflection, I realized that writing helps me express myself better. This is not something I started only now. When I was working at Cognizant, I used to write small things in my notebook—about interesting moments at work, appreciating someone’s dosa or chutney, the way someone dressed nicely, or my feelings on days when I felt low. It was not a diary or an article, just simple writing for myself.

Much later, when people started talking about blogs, I understood that what I was doing was actually blogging. That made me feel happy, because writing feels like talking to someone, not writing a formal article. It allows me to share my thoughts and feelings freely.

Whatever I write here is only my personal experience. It is not meant to judge, gossip, or share opinions about anyone. If you choose to read my blog, I hope you read it as if I am sitting next to you and sharing my experiences with you, like a friendly conversation.

Bharatanatyam is my passion, and I chose it as my profession. Dancing gives me great joy, and teaching gives me even more happiness. Now, this new passion—my blog—is also bringing me joy. I am grateful that I can express my thoughts and feelings through writing, and I hope I continue to do so.
